I had a hard time with wording the bottom text of this post. I hope it’s grammatically correct. Anyway…
.
I moved to Massachusetts last year, but I was born and raised in Texas for 26 years. The Texan four seasons include a perpetual summer with a 3-4 month period of being barbecued by Satan himself. Thus, I am used to both extreme heat and smothering humidity.
– 90°F heat is your typical Texas day
– 80°F is a Texas winter
– 60°F comes with a high Texan hypothermia risk
– 40°F is an ice warning that shuts down all of the schools for the day (this is actually true sometimes)
.
It’s getting hot here. I’m having several conversations with folks who were talking about the approaching summer. They worried about me walking around in the “very high” 80°F – 85°F weather.
I told them in my thickest southern accent that heat and humidity is my natural habitat lol.
